Tanunda Hill Stage 2

This 108 hectare vineyard was planted in 2003 and is set in one of Australia’s best known viticultural regions, the Barossa Valley, approximately 5km west of Nuriootpa. This vineyard has been established adjacent to Blaxland’s 220 hectare vineyard known as Tanunda Hill Vineyard – (stage 1).

The Vineyard is also watered from the Barossa Infrastructure Limited scheme.

The vineyard is predominantly planted to red varieties including shiraz, merlot and grenache. The vineyard has its own dam but shares its irrigation system with the adjacent Tanunda Hill vineyard. The vineyard is managed by Advanced Viticulture and Management Pty Limited and all of the fruit is under contract to the Orlando Wines Group.
