This 234 hectare vineyard was planted in 2001 in the highly sought after premium Barossa Valley viticultural area. Grapes from the vineyard are purchased by a number of Australia’s leading wine companies including Orlando Wines, Australian Vintage, Peter Lehman Wines, 3 Rings and Yalumba Wines.
The vineyard is predominantly planted to red varieties including shiraz, merlot, cabernet and tempranillo with small plantings of white varieties including viogner, and sauvignon blanc.
The Vineyard is irrigated with water from the Barossa Infrastructure Limited water scheme which owns an array of pipework in the Barossa Valley that essentially transports water from the Murray System into the Barossa. The Tanunda Hill Vineyard project is one of the largest water share holders in the BIL scheme.
A Barossa period stone cottage nestled in the middle of the vineyard is available to investors to rent for up to a week at a time. The vineyard is managed by Advanced Viticulture and Management Pty Limited. |
